Wildwood welcomes the team from “Friendly Organics” for a series of organic gardening workshops in March 2018. These hands-on classes provide a fun and interactive way to be empowered to grow your own organic foods and become more sustainable.
Saturday, March 3rd, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
It’s all about layers. Learn all about composting and growing simultaneously! Create your very own mini lasagna garden to take home with you. $20 per person, pre-registration is required.
Saturday, March 10th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Hügelkultur are no-dig raised beds with a difference. They hold moisture, build fertility, maximize surface volume and are great spaces for growing fruit, vegetables and herbs. This hands-on class will also allow you to create your own mini Hügelkulter to take home with you. $20 per person, pre-registration is required.
Sunday, March 11th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Learn all about choosing the correct environment for the correct seed. You’ll get to construct your very own mini ‘inside’ seed bed to take home with you. $20 per person, pre-registration is required.
Please register for all workshops in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or in-person at our store. Space is limited, register in advance!
